The Nigerian Police had secured a judgement from a high court in Jos, plateau state to enable it to invite the former deputy governor of the Central a bank of Nigeria, Obadiah Mailafia for questioning.
Mailafiya approached the court in August with an application to stop his frequent invitation by security agencies over his allegations that suggests a northern Nigerian governor is the sponsor of dreaded terrorist group boko haram.
The police had invited Mailafia for questioning in Abuja in August, adding that the invitation was based on a case under investigation in which the former CBN deputy governor’s name featured prominently.
